Life on Sarang

Welcome aboard Sarang — our floating home and quiet corner of life on the water.

We’re Liam Lusk and Sarang, a traditional narrowboat where everyday living is less about constant cruising and more about creating a warm, thoughtful, and creative life afloat. This blog shares the reality of living aboard full-time — the comforts, the challenges, the small routines, the changing seasons, and the ongoing journey of making a compact space feel like home.

From interior projects and storage ideas to slow living, music, canal-side moments, and reflections from boat life, this is a space centred around living well in a smaller, simpler environment.
